Before beginning his legal career, Byron earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked at Price Waterhouse, one of the nation’s leading accounting firms. This financial background provides clients with valuable insight into estate planning, probate administration, business law, and real estate matters where legal and financial considerations often overlap.

Byron R. Lane has spent more than 38 years helping individuals, families, and business owners find practical, cost-effective legal solutions. His background combines legal experience with a foundation in accounting, giving clients a broader perspective when navigating estate planning, probate, business law, and real estate matters.
Byron earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge before receiving his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law in 1987. Following law school, he briefly worked at Price Waterhouse, one of the nation’s premier accounting firms, before founding his own practice to focus on serving clients directly.
Throughout his career, Byron has represented clients in estate planning, probate administration, business law, and real estate matters. His accounting background allows him to better understand the financial and tax considerations that often accompany complex legal decisions, helping clients develop strategies that protect both their assets and long-term goals.
